real talk, 1 brought in a fun concept for a horror franchise but lbr it’s dull af. 2 tried to ground it more, but also made it pretty dull. 3 went a little sillier and so we were headed somewhere. 4 was a little too silly, so back to the drawing board. 5 found a happy medium, but still too serious.

i have now seen every Final Destination film and it’s kinda wild how this franchise has progressed. i love how they just made the movies for the hell of it then in the process started finding their footing for how to make the concept work. and thus their last two movies were… the best ones??
