The Easter Island image came from a conversation where someone confused Moai with moè (萌え). I also like the idea of the BBC releasing a video game based off Last of the Summer Wine.

Going through all the images I've created as I am gathering some con ephemera for a friend of mine.

I was a host on a panel at Nan Desu Kan (a Colorado based anime con) called Gameturkey which I and a couple of friends discussed really bad games.

I was shocked that the panel was full.

So now I gotta I guess "unlearn" a bunch of stuff that got me this way.

I hate how it's easy for folks to just "let go", and not give a fuck and just enjoy the moment - but I am just bad at this.

I spoke with my therapist about my inability to relax and "let go", and how I am "on guard" ALL THE TIME.

I put stuff I shouldn't have put in my body to help with this. Tobacco, yep. Booze, yep. Blacked out from a combo of pills and booze, yep. Illicit substances, yep.

Even a tiny collection takes up a surprising amount of space.
Emulation is a viable option as vintage hardware and software has become unbelievably expensive and fraught with rampant counterfeiting and video gaming is stupid expensive as it is without idiotic gatekeeping.

Not everyone has the time or the financial means to acquire vintage games. The "gaming is only valid on original hardware on a CRT" discourse can fuck right off.

If there's a game you want to check out, and know the means to do so, I support you.
