I know how annoying this word can be since it’s overused by grifters but Switch Sports is the one Nintendo game that actually feels like a cash grab riding off of the brand familiarity of Wii Sports.

Sometimes I wonder about what went wrong with this game. It was developed by EPD4, a dev team known for creating some of Nintendo’s most creative and wackiest games of recent memory. Yet it somehow turned out to be a shell of its predecessor that doesn’t even understand its target audience.

I’m not a big Splatoon fan but I’ve always enjoyed the single-player content (especially Octo Expansion and 3’s main campaign, I have yet to play Side Order) so I’m excited about this.

Rawk Hawk isn't even evil but is an egotistical jerk who wants fame. Because of how ruthless Movie Bowser is why would he invite him anyway of all charactes? Sure they could force invite him but I doubt any of the two versions of Bowser would do that. Knowing Illumination I doubt it would work.

I'm going to be brutally honest. I want to see RPG characters in the films. But I feel this was the right choice. I know the movies are seperate but Bowser inviting Rawk Hawk just doesn't work they never liked each other and this would imply this version of Rawk Hawk is working for him when...🧵

They literally made Fox McCloud a major character in the second film, why do people still argue that RPG characters would be “out of place” 😭

Plus given how early storyboard happen in animation production, they could've made an even better design in the final film.

The concept of a Mario film already throws the "clashing artstyle" argument out the window.

The mainline games alone have multiple different worlds and characters, MK8 has crossover characters, SMW had like 20 different sprite styles, does Nintendo really care about the artstyle.
