Drove up to NYC and then back down to ATL for a weekend of stuff.

Got to see my film play at Smodcastle, got to visit my favourite boardwalk arcade for the first time in like 30 years, went up the Empire State Building for the first time ever.

It was nice.

I’m not getting in this car again.

It just needs a small kiss. Right on the lips. Then it won’t be so tense.

I’m old now. I don’t understand the internet. Which is wild after helping it become what it is. :(

You're a zero
What's your name?
No one's gonna ask you
Better find out where they want you to go
Try and hit the spot
Get to know it in the dark
Get to know it whether you're a crime, crime, crime of love
Can you climb, climb, climb high up?

I think about things like this a lot nowadays. I just turned fifty and I have website profiles that are now 25 years old. For some reason I disassociate when that crosses my mind.

It is wild how hateful and aggressive the people over at Threads are. But then again it get's me engagement, which is the opposite of what happens here.

Double edged sword I guess?

Celebrating 50 Years of Life and 25 Years Online Being able to make both of these statements is a thing not very many people can say, so I'm feeling pretty blessed, kinda hydrated, and definitely full of gratitude. Anyways to celebrate my birthday I created a bunch of cool stuff for Atlanta's Buried Alive Horror Film Fest with my friends. You can see all that over on my portfolio web site, which is already in progress.

13
A.
Well, I'm sure you're familiar with my film Titanic.
When I
14
set down the path to make that film, the first thing that I did
15
was arrange to be introduced to the head of the submersible
16
program at the P.P. Shirshov Institute in Moscow, a guy named
17|
Professor
I. I did that through a mutual friend

of ours, a guy named
, who is one of the preeminent
underwater cinematographers in the world. And had been on a
20
submersible expedition out to Titanic the previous year with the
21

Learned that an anonymous outside expert on submersibles did an interview with the OceanGate Titan investigation, and they released a transcript, with all the names redacted. The first line of his first answer? "I'm sure you're familiar with my film Titanic."
