“Books that Kill!” Whitney Baker of the Kenneth Spencer Research Library will be talking about the ongoing research and conservation efforts at the University of Kansas on the potentially toxic nature of 19th century book bindings.
“Writing Across Kansas!” Environmental art and culture writer Leslie VonHolten will be talking about Kansas writers and the new book “Kansas Matters: 21st-century Writers on the Sunflower State.”

History Nerds: May is the anniversary of Anne Boleyn’s execution, so local educator and history buff, Jeanne Averill will be discussing all things Anne.
