Un nuage de poussière du Sahara survole actuellement notre pays. Ce nuage se trouve dans les basses couches de l'atmosphère et son impact sur les conc. de PM10 est visible dans plusieurs stations au sol (comme à Uccle).
L'IRM confirme, grâce à son réseau LIDAR, qu'il s'agit de poussière du Sahara.
Momenteel trekt een Saharastofwolk over het land. Deze wolk bevindt zich in de onderste luchtlagen en de impact op de fijnstofconcentraties (PM10) is zichtbaar in verschillende meetstations aan de grond (zie vb meetstation Ukkel).
Het KMI bevestigt via haar LIDAR netwerk dat dit Saharastof is.

Today at the Princess Elisabeth Station, we observed very low total ozone column values with the #brewer, which are in line with the total ozone column forecast, provided by @CopernicusECMWF.
Thank you for all your hard work, so we could land in save conditions on the Perseus Airstrip yesterday evening. Looking forward to collaborate with everybody @ the Princess Elisabeth Antarctica Base!
