I saw it yesterday - truly incredible. See it while it’s still running if you can

This is the best sentence anyone has ever written to me on this site
If you’re in NYC we can be colonoscopy pals which is genuinely the best and worst opening friendship salvo I’ve ever uttered
It’s not even for the future. I’m single and freelancing with a chronic illness. Who knows what I’m going to do.
Plus I need to schedule a colonoscopy and I’m trying to figure out who can accompany me home, but maybe that’s TMI
The Spiderman meme with two Spidermen pointing at each other
This is an actual image of Real Zuck meeting AI Zuck
Everyone is up in arms about this but having worked at Instagram I feel like you're all missing the important point which is:
There's not a lot of difference between an AI Zuckerberg and Actual Zuckerberg. If anything I bet I'd get along better with the AI one

Also, have you seen Mexodus

There is no way - and I mean NO way - Trump doesn’t publicly turn on Vance soon because of all this
I CANNOT WAIT
I was in 5th? 6th? grade? and we all watched at school. This is such a relief!
Honestly it's kind of nice that we're all crying together and for once it's about something really great and special ❤️
I just realized that I am probably still traumatized from seeing the Challenger live on TV as a kid, so this was extremely healing for little me
Ok phew ❤️
I think I need a hug
I just cheered at splashdown
Today I texted a friend that it's good we sent humans to space because it was a necessary reminder that
"there are some things a machine can’t do and can never do, and that’s captivate everyone with humanity and friendship"
I'm not sorry for being extremely corny
Ok well now I am actually crying looking at a bunch of parachutes
Is it silly that I almost cried when they regained contact with the astronauts after the blackout period
I was extremely hot for him in the 90s but I do regret googling what he looks like now
T-Pain's War Pigs cover may be better than all other covers of War Pigs and every other cover of any other song combined.
And yo, his live, non-auto-tuned performance IS ALSO AMAZING
Mike Patton is an under-appreciated genius
In some cases it can't. But I figured in this case it could, so here I am in my UES high rise.
I agree. I wish it were. At least he made a documentary!
That whole video series is one of the most beautiful, joyful things I have ever seen on social media – the love and discovery he experienced, and also the way that love was reflected in the people he met and in the comments. I felt grateful to witness it, honestly
I lived in Clinton Hill for a few years – it's where I moved to when I came back from Stockholm – and while it is truly beautiful and special, and I did my best to respect and connect with the community, every day I felt the weight of the displacement I was partly responsible for.
I want that too. It's partly why I keep writing and speaking up when I can. This is a fight we should all be fighting.
Not sure if you're on IG, but have you seen the posts from a guy named Joe Draymond about his tour of the Black American South? He's Māori, from New Zealand
Oh I'm joking. Just that compared to many of the households on the UES, I'm probably not the one pushing up rents or pushing out the existing community.
It has to! Funny but this is one reason I'm so glad I listened to an audiobook version of War & Peace last year (read by Thandiwe Newton, who has a glorious voice to listen to for 60+ hours). It reminded me that we've been here before and we'll be here again, so we better create while we can
Thanks! And yes, it's very this. It's *everywhere.* When I worked at Spotify on podcasts (pre-2020), I had to tell them: You guys. You're trying to get people to listen to podcasts. But lots of people don't even know what a podcast IS.
