Iman Vellani’s love for the MCU translates into Ms Marvel being one of the most endearing characters. I hate how toxic the fanbase is for female characters (in this and all fanbases). We didn’t get superhero movies like this as kids, just enjoy the ride that we get these on the regular now.

For the last 20 years, I’ve been going to a majority of concerts by myself, save about a third with my wife. I’ve been fine with that, but I think I’m finally hitting the point where it’s just a bummer to spend time alone in a community that I’ve lived and breathed since I was 13.

It’s taken SO long. We recorded almost a year ago. But the finished Mutiny full length is in hand. We were just waiting on the final pieces from overseas. Hopefully it’s going to smash expectations. This thing is massive on multiple levels. Sonically one of the best things any of us have ever done.

I am insanely lucky I get to play with Mike Cambra in Mutiny. INSANELY LUCKY. But man, do I need some of that luck for something in Denver. I think I gotta break up the band I was working on here…

Within a week, we got new albums from Converge and New Found Glory. These are like the two sides of my musical personality if you know anything about me. Both albums are amazing. Highly recommend.

Is there one thing in your life that you love doing, that gives you both the highest highs of your life, but also the lowest lows? And how do you handle the lows?

Mine is playing music in a band. When it works, the high is better than drugs. But when it doesn’t, man, life just becomes colorless.

This is more along the lines of advice I needed, my head is super overkill, and my sweetwater rep suggested a 60 watt amp and I had a small panic attack about dropping so much money and blowing it out day one, haha

It’s funny, with guitar culture online, you’re just supposed to kind of know things. I’m having a hard time finding specifics on pairing 100 ways with a 2x12.

Is anyone out there playing a 100 watt amp on a 2x12? Looking for some advice on downsizing my cab, my back doesn’t want to move a half cab anymore. At this point I might even just pull the head out of the equation and put the Quad Cortex into a power amp into a cab.
