I’m married and changed my name. I would have to produce an original birth certificate, marriage certificate, and current ID. The cost and wait time, living in a remote/rural area if you have to apply in person, all add another layer of challenge. This admin wants to make it harder to vote.

It does become challenging when the requirements change though. If the requirement suddenly became your original birth certificate with government issued ID that matches it would get complicated for many. Cost and wait times are a factor. 1/2
