This is probably the only time I'm going to post about this but, it's genuinely upsetting to see the people I follow, post snarky passive aggressive takes about this, essentially doing the same shit people criticize @/why.bsky.team for.

I wouldn't be complaining about it if this was actually caused by bsky devs vibe coding the website. But that's not what happened.

Last time the outage was caused by an upstream provider issue which they failed to mitigate. This time it was a DDoS attack (which they also failed to mitigate).

I need people to stop automatically blaming ai vibe coding every time bsky goes down, please.

There are valid reasons to criticize the bsky team, their decisions, and the way some of them interact with their own users.

But come on, going "ai bad" everytime something goes wrong doesn't help.
