Thank you to all those who contributed! Our call for papers for the 2025/2026 academic year is now open, and we welcome contributors for our talks. We are keen to hear from any PGRs working on a historical topic (broadly defined). The platform provides a safe and constructive space to test any works in progress. If you want to receive feedback on a chapter of your thesis, if you have a conference paper you'd like to practice, or if you just need some feedback on an idea, our work-in-progress seminars offer a supportive environment for constructive feedback. We welcome expressions of interest from PGRs on any historical topic. Please submit a title, a brief abstract (c.150 words), and a short bio to historperspectives@gmail.com by 1 December 2025.

These writing groups are informal independent sessions, not a writing course or formal talk about academic writing. We simply use Zoom as a way to connect and help us focus!
