My theory is they want to make the site more and more unusable to try and chase off the crowd that kept it from flaming out faster than Cohost, but they don't realize that they'd have literally no one to replace us with, so either they need to adapt to us or hope they have a backup career.

It would also be nice if they started stocking more stuff like pins and patches and whatnot. That's a market I don't see being filled much by anyone else outside of ordering 3rd party designs from TeePublic, so adding pins would be a game changer.
It's still a very bold strategy to block a huge chunk of the userbase that thinks about AI the same way that the vast majority of the actual users on this site think about it.
