“Tesla’s driverless ‘robotaxis’ could launch in Austin as soon as June 22. But a demo in Austin today showed a $TSLA, manually driven to test its Full Self-Driving system, failed to stop for a child-sized dummy at a school bus—and hit it.”

Elon Chickens Out Too
Free speech absolutist says wut?
@wsj reached out to Board Chair Robyn Denholm for comment and in response, SHE SOLD ALL OF HER REMAINING $TSLA SHARES.
Now we know why Robyn Denholm dumped the rest of her $TSLA stock today.
I honestly don't know that much about CRSH.
I like the strategy as long as there options on TSLS are liquid.
🤡
To understand why #TSLA is up today despite disappointing earnings, you need to consider: 1) how the options market influences it’ SP and 2) how TSLA's inclusion in the S&P500 impacts its SP. Once you grasp these factors, the current price makes sense and presents an opportunity to short the fade.
I doubled down on my shorts today.
Game theory suggests that President Xi will respond to Trump's weakened position by holding firm and continuing to expand China's other international trade partnerships.
The $TSLA earnings call is a disaster.
1. Elon spent most of his time talking about DOGE and Trump
2. LFP batteries are sourced from China (tariffs)
3. Brand image is destroyed
4. Robotaxi and FSD now will only be available in the South. Can't operate in areas with snow
5. Elon is aloof on the call
First $TSLA analyst question without a script and Elon is lost in space.
I am listening to the Tesla earnings call.
So far I have learned that Ketamine is a downer. #TSLA
Elon seems high AF on the $TSLA Q1 Earnings call.
$0.27 per share vs $0.41 of expectations -- which were already revised down. This is the lowest EPS tesla has announced since 1Q 2021, including their absolutely disastrous 1Q 2024 results that sent its stock down to about $163/share. Excited to see tomorrow's opening and laugh.
$TSLA
Strip out regulatory credits, net interest income and also adjust for the “other” loss, and operations generated a pre-tax loss of ~$200 million in the first quarter.

Tesla ($TSLA) missed earnings expectations, reporting EPS of $0.27 vs. $0.41 expected and revenue of $19.3B vs. $21.34B expected.
Big $TSLA Q1 miss on EPS and Revenue!
We all look forward to attending yours one day.
Happy Easter!
Bobo is right. Wall Street commies are the worst!
Today's Republicans believe that Justice Scalia is a terrorist.
There is no one to stop him anymore.
I bought more puts today for the same reason but kept some calls just in case Elon tries pumping TSLA on Monday morning.
Watching the Chairman Powell Q&A reminded me of what normalcy looks like from public officials.
