I've worked on WOE for so long that in my own head I've "claimed" that name, but in reality there are far more people on Earth that associate it with this freak from old Sonic comics than the dumb catboy that stars in my obscure webcomic. I have long come to accept that.

Until eventually I randomly threw "Ixis" into it and it pronounced it "ick-seez" instead of the expected "ick-sis" and I was oddly fond of it.

At the time I don't even think I was super conscious of the fact that I ripped the name off of a weird wizard creature from the Archie Sonic comic.

I use a little program called WordWeb that's basically a dictionary that sits in your taskbar, and it has a feature to play a robovoice pronunciation of a word.

So back in 2008 I was just rapidfire-inputting every weird thing I could think of and hitting that button, looking for a name.

I suspect that the art and comics these two are designed for will not appeal to most of my followers or WOE readers but who knows. I just like having art to post.

I found the will to draw something earlier but instead of WOE I shamefully drew a lazy-but-indulgent updated Adrien pic to make myself feel better. (I wanted to crop it due to the big empty space at the bottom but I spent too long on the stupid boots.)

Also re-re-reposting the matching Candy bio.

On top of my physical state, the weather might get scary around these parts soon, so I'll post some old pages early and try to avoid social media distractions for a while.
