Bit of a stretch to say Howe coached Anderson into the England squad, he hardly played him, and showed little trust. He's made himself a international with regular PL football under a succession of Forest coaches.

I think EH was set a minimum target of European qualification. Having the faith he has in his players, staff and his own ability he accepted the target with confidence. The CEO is perfectly entitled to say the next 7 will determine whether that target is met then the position will be reviewed.

Yet to be confirmed we're investing in anything, apart from a Craig Hope 'exclusive'. We've been here before, things get the slightest bit sticky, a story appears about an imminent announcement on training ground/stadium. Only actual follow through is the latest range of retro gear. Getting tedious.

Much worse, the likes of Tonali , Livramento and possibly Hall will leave quoting that we're not strengthening as promised. As Keegan famously said, it's not like it said in the brochure. But they're very good at distractions, there's always a training ground/stadium announcement imminent.

A grown up club would have him in a room and tell him its not worked this season, we're exploring options / putting feelers out for the summer. You earned the right to finish this UCL campaign and see how we go in cups/the PL. Sit down in April and decide. Just not sure we're that grown up club.
