From Andrew Tate to Mountbatten-Windsor, my first name has been dragged through the mud. Can a global community of ‘Drews’ help change that?

My gentle Puck, come hither.
My tolerance level for any tv ads is so low now because I so rarely encounter them and they are inevitably declining in quality as desperation sets in. It would better if they just flashed a picture of their brand for 15 seconds in silence 😂
Haha we used to walk the kids from Hillhurst School up that path when i volunteered for helping take them to events at SAIT a dozen years ago.

Great see Lennie Gallant live in Calgary
Gosh my mom had wanted me to be a Presbyterian church minister so I stayed far away from RS 😂
Took engineering as an undergrad but took all the arts I could so everything from Calculus to Economics including thermodynamics, Italian and environmental studies.
Recently went back and did my Master of Arts focusing on island literature.
Catherine O'Hara and John Candy standing close together at what appears to be an indoor gathering. Catherine O’Hara is on the left, wearing a light blue sweater and smiling while looking to her right. She is holding a small glass in one hand and a clutch-style purse under her arm. John Candy is on the right, wearing a dark jacket over a light, open-collared shirt, smiling directly toward the camera. The background is dimly lit, with other people partially visible behind them.
John Candy and Catherine O'Hara made the world a better place.
Canada and the world is a better place for them having existed.
My most direct walking route is the C-train footbridge but I often take the Peace Bridge anyway. I always use it when I run or cycle. Nice to have it accessible again.
I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

Nice dads wear plaid (and denim).
Also. Rome is great but I really liked Florence. Hope it’s in your plans.
Yes that UPEI Italian class was not very challenging 😂. Duo has its quirks, my son and I started together learning German for a trip to Berlin in 2017. Enjoy!
It’s pretty good I took a couple of semesters of Italian in university and speak French so was able to complete everything in Italian on Duolingo in about a year. I find it’s a pretty intuitive language of short words and almost terse, to the point phraseology, the opposite of French or German. 🙂
Books like that wait for the reader to have the right moment for it 🙂
I love having a small volunteer job to do at a music festival or theatre/literary event. It really suits my awkward personality. 🙂

Here are my favourite reads from 2025. Really happy to say that the Giller and Booker winners were great this year. I read more more non-fiction than usual. Nice to see Ian McEwan back in top form.
Listened to these new records on vinyl quite a lot this year. All acts I’ve enjoyed seeing live, most of them numerous times. Jason Isbell is the only new one this year. Great show at the Big Four during Stampede.
