If I see a rich person complaining about something, that means we should keep doing it.

What's crazy about this is I thought all this cord cutting would make our lives easier. Now watching anytihng requires complicated research about who owns the rights, who has it up on their service, signing up for said service, deciding on what level to sign up for, etc. Bring back cable.
I think the world is suffering due to the imminent collapse of the American empire and government. The failure to impeach is a symptom of that collapse. It's Congress abdicating its responsibilities. A lot of systems are breaking or nearing breaking points in America. Government collapse is next.
The one thing I fear in life is getting really sick and being subjected to the American healthcare system. I worked in the system for a few years and saw enough to know that it is a system of wealth=access. Without money, you get the bare minimum.
What is really frustrating is how much corporations depend on public services and communities and do nothing to support them. Capitalism at it's finest, sucking funds out of communities and forcing the costs of business onto them.
I do appreciate my state sort of going after corporations.
Your first sentence undermines your whole statement.
Just thinking that my attitude about God is on the same level. If there is a "God", my existence matters about as much to him as his does to me. He shouldn't depend on me for my faith and I won't depend on him to solve my problems.
The one thing I've known as an adult is that you cannot trust the government, regardless of party. The American government is a machine that protects itself and cares very little about its citizens. My government couldn't give a shit about me, and I don't give a shit about it.
No one should be surprised that the President isn't smart enough to grasp the nuances of the situation. This is a man who only sees the world in black and white, winners and losers and allies and enemies. Nuance of any level is beyond him, as it is for about 1/3 of all Americans.
I put this up there with the sky is blue and grass is green. Anyone denying this isn't living in reality.
This is so obvious it's stupid. America is a country where you are totally on your own. Every person I've met who is struggling is doing so due to ONE emergency, complication or setback. The social safety net in America is a joke.
Really can’t trust American media. It’s all billionaire owned.
The part he isn’t saying is it only lasts as long as the ceasefire in Lebanon does.
This is also why so many empires failed when their leaders died. If your power comes from the personality of one man, that cannot be passed. If you instead have power from the institution, then it doesn't matter who's in charge.
Free is still too much to go to something like this. You'd have to pay me to sit through that.
I've never met a politician I liked. Every single one of them has a serious character flaw which usually drives them to be politicians.
Laws are for other people, not Republicans. Just like rules are for other people. Modern Republicanism is built around hypocrisy at every level.
I think you are marginalizing the racism. Trump voters are incredibly racist. Electing Trump even though you knew he would be bad but would be worse for black & brown people is right in line with the filling of public pools in the south to prevent minorities from using them. Scorched Earth Racism.
Honestly, Trump staying up all night doom scrolling over a war he started is probably the most relatable thing he's done for me. He should be up all night panicking over the situation he's put America in. If he was sleeping soundly, I'd be even more worried.
I see no problem with this. The DoorDash Grandma is as qualified as anyone in his cabinet so I don't see a problem with her being there to take questions.
What people mean when they say, "I didn't vote for this," is ,"I didn't think it would impact me. I thought it would only impact other people."
I remember when Elon Musk was still thought of as Tony Stark rather than an idiot version of Lex Luther.
In Bruges scene where Colin Farrell is pointing a gun at his head and Brendon Gleeson is also pointing a gun at Colin Farrell's head
Current status of the Strait of Hormuz dispute
The Iran war increasingly looks not only like another shocking humiliation, but perhaps the greatest strategic blunder in American military history.

Trump acts the way I think medieval kings would act if they had Facebook or some other toxic social media platform. This is mad king bullshit from our President.
The press is owned by the billionaires that support this.
Politics is really just full of the worst people. I can count on one hand the politicians I think are ok people.
I hope nothing but bad things for her. Karma comes for us all.
Fuck no. No more money for stupid wars. Starve the fucking beast. Learn from Republicans and cut stupid budgets to the fucking bone.
