I’ll end my late-night rant here, but please know that if it seems like I’m silent, it’s likely I’m screaming my head off in other places (like my therapists office or the shower) or platforms. 🧡

I share politics to my insta and fb stories, I’m there under @kiapickeringart and Nakia Pickering Illustration. I know I’m still working on my presence here, but I’m throwing this out there now: I’m going to do my best not to make political posts here. If you want to see that from me, go to my insta, my account has been buried and my reach is nonexistent so I’ll happily do that there.

GenAI has polluted image search results, especially for animal pics. It’s now basically impossible to find accurate art references.

Enter this: a repository of open-access, AI-free images of wild & exotic taxa. Artists creating *without AI* have blanket permission for derivative/transformative use.
