It's the same thing. Different branding.
Did a very short course in Naloxalone training today.
Extremely simple course, but it was re-affirming to be able to demonstrate an extremely strong core understanding of the reason we even need such a thing now.
30 years of fairly extreme living is the best education you can get, sometimes.
Bit early to reveal too much. Just trying to get the foundations of the concept together. I have to work/train in completely unrelated fields so this is likely a long-term personal project.
I see it everywhere, never found it appealing at all. Not sure why, because I love exploring words. And word-games.
Part of me, likes that I've missed out too, but that's more down to not like being "A Part" of popular phenomenon / things.
Feels uncomfortable to be accepted or included.
The character is you. As mentioned my main inspiration for this is more along the lines of Steve Jackson & Ian Livingstone. Digital adventure, a page turner with the usual accoutrements you'd have when reading the originals. You know?
Simplified dice rolls, like Hero Quest had, perhaps.
Fighting against impossible odds, is the core. However, the story rewards imagination over established rules. An endless onslaught of battle, defying the fate chosen for you. Cruel & avaricious overlords who rule by fear. Heal a broken society built on broken dreams.
(Or not)
She drinks the best grog, but passes out after a small tipple.
To fall from such a lofty height, might just leave ye cripple!

Well, therein lies the question, is anyone a real human?😉
It's very much concept, I have a storyline in production with characters. Inspired by inspiration (DnD, Warhammer 40k, Warhammer, Ultima, Star Wars, LOTR, Star Trek, Babylon 5, Firefly, Game of Thrones, Morte D'Artur & real life legends.)
Has there even *been* a better choon?
Answers on a postcard to:

Spectacular
Computer-game to movie is a real hard gap to breach. You are something of pioneer in this - because you managed that, and handsomely so.
Much like Richard Garriott's & his team who proved MMOs can be commercially viable. You showed that movies based on games can be successful too (And epic. imo)
Done. I require rest for this moment, been a long week. (Generally, active between 17-20hrs a day. Offline/off)
I need to decompress for the moment, I'll get back to you.
If you remember the classic Steve Jackson & Ian Livingstone books. They had fairly simple, but exquisitely drawn pieces in the page, sort of along this route.
Could easily be turned into an online-version of that too. I've had a friend manage this before to some small success.
Mostly airing my thoughts at the moment.
My main focus, at this point in time is build up funds for this project. Seeing, mostly who might be interested by this as a core concept and potentially fully-fledged project.
Well, I've only got so far as a cover (This)
It is based in an alternate universe (Thousands of years ago.) However, science & philosophy progressed through the ages. Society ascending past the model of repeated Ages of Enlightenment reset & controlled by the emergence of religious zealotry.
X post by Amy Nixon (@texasrunnerDFW ), featuring a verification badge. The post reads, "The USA is weird now. If you're a person under 30, you probably think it's normal but that's because you don't know. Trust me. It's weird."
America hasn’t felt this upside down since I was a child in an internment camp.
X isn't such a bad place to be.
Concept art entirely computey generated.
Would be nice to commission an artist for something a bit more, let's say scraped and unoriginal.
MIght be a game, probably likely (More than likely) to be a DnD adventure akin to Steve Jackson and wotnot.
It is an epic story.
(Probably)
