frustrating interaction that i left the call feeling bad. which sucks. their shitty customer service is ENOUGH to make me leave a call feeling bad!! i don’t need any additional help there lol

so anyway i don’t have a point here. just wanted to get this frustration out so im not (7/8)

when getting off the phone he was obviously still rattled, kinda stumbled over his “is there anything else i can help with /thank you for calling” exit script.

and i was left feeling just. so frustrated and also frustrated with my frustration. he solved my problem! but it was such a (6/8)

he asked can I call you Ace? and i was like yeah whatever call me ace or just don’t address me and keep talking. and he apologized again saying he’s just used to those words.

our conversation resumed and finally he was able to fix my problem. great. (5/8)

so my tone was Not Nice this time. i said “PLEASE. stop calling me that. I don’t know what I need to do,” and he cut me off saying sorry sorry sorry I am just used to using those words, what should i call you instead? and i said “Just don’t say ma’am. you don’t have to call me anything.” (4/8)

but then it happened again. and i asked him again not to say that. and he apologized but recovered more quickly. but then it happened AGAIN. and by that point i was very frustrated, mostly due to customer service reasons (again, it’s taken me 8 calls to fix literally ONE issue) (3/8)

deal with having that conversation. but then he said it a third time and i was like okay obviously this just isn’t gonna stop. so i asked “sorry, can you please not call me ma’am?” and he said yes then kinda stammered until i was like “anyway, what were you saying?” lol (2/8)

so ive lately been asking ppl not to call me “ma’am” on the phone. it’s been mostly positive but i do need to vent about this call i just had.

just got off the phone with hellofresh customer service (for the fucking 8th time, btw). i didnt say anything the first couple times bc i didn’t want (1/8)

i’m working in the office today and i didn’t bring my switch so i can’t play on my lunch break like i did when i wfh yesterday. where’s my LIL FRIENDS 😭😭😖
