What’s so wrong about this is we already have to provide (legal document) a birth certificate, to get a DL. Then women who change their name when they get married have to provide (another legal document) marriage license/certificate, to change THEIR LEGAL NAME to update their DL.

Papers? What do we have besides driver’s license? Not everyone HAS a passport and a birth certificate doesn’t prove anything. Really, even if I did have my passport on me I would hesitate to show it to ICE because they are NOT police. I wouldn’t put it past them to just take it.

I saw Joe Ely together with Lyle Lovett and it was a great show. Joe would play a song of his, Lyle would join in, then they told stories. Then Lyle would play a song of his and Joe would join in. It was a lovely, entertaining evening

The stupid thing is that DST doesn’t change daylight hours even a little bit. NOTHING changes but clocks. It’s certainly easier to change school schedules and individual routines than ALL the clocks.
