We have this theory that the stuff us adults loved as children, is what our pupils love just as much as us (they just don't always know, yet!) So, watch this space throughout 2026 as we go proper old-school & embrace good old-fashioned, wholesome activities. Suggestions welcome!

Been reading up on positive, strengths-based psychology - I think knowing ourselves, knowing each other and connecting is what will get us through these tough times in education. This line has really resonated: "Most conflict at work is strengths colliding under stress."

Thinking back to watching Pools with my Grandma - that pride, that belonging. Hard to see what the club’s been through, but feeling hopeful under the new owners. For her, and every loyal Poolie who’s stuck it out. Better days ahead. Come on Pools 💙🤍

Such a good night with all of the other Lancashire Mind ambassadors and all their fabulous staff. Really enjoyed our first session together at the Flower Bowl - excited to do my little bit to help nudge the mental health agenda in the right direction.

Want to get more in to this place & connect with open-minded educators/people who want to change the world, as well as those who lift up/inspire/make me think (& just generally kind, decent people who don't want to just argue/get reach). Let me know if that's you or point me to those worth a follow!

Those that can’t tear themselves away from X, I feel like we need to stage an intervention.

Still can't believe we pulled off a school trip to New York, this is blowing the kid's minds (although they're now a bit tired after 26,000 steps). Anything really is possible when you Dare To Dream. 🌟

Just had one of the most emotional days of my career. A school trip across the pond is a whole other level unlocked – jet lag, skyscrapers, new friendships & kids seeing a whole new world for the first time. Their faces said it all. This is what Dare to Dream is all about. 💙🌎

It might have taken a long drive through the night in the school minibuses to get there, but taking the kids to see the sights and make some memories in London was absolutely worth it. Can't beat a good school trip.

Petition: Require landfills that cause smells and toxins near residential areas to close I want the government to look into revoking licenses from landfill sites that continue to dump large amount of waste, causing hydrogen sulphide to be emitted into the atmosphere.

PLEASE HELP: Fleetwood families are suffering from a toxic stink caused by a landfill. We’ve got 2 weeks to hit 10,000 signatures – we’re nearly there at 8,002.

Found these bad boys hidden in a bag of stuff that has needed sorting for months and honestly think it may be better than finding a tenner.

The classics never go out of style. The things we loved as kids still have magic - our kids just need the chance to discover it.

Very happy with our brand new virtual tour of school - feel free to have a walk around. We love having visitors if the real world is more your thing.

Would imagine it's every school in be country and, like most places, we're running out of stuff to cut back on. It's so sad to have to dismantle some of the brilliant things you've put in place, just at the time we need them most. It's not just the kids who suffer, it's everyone.

Love this photo - so many people have no idea just how beautiful the north east is.

This would have my full support - most people have no idea how bad the funding situation in schools has become. The data I have suggests it gets even worse next year....

Have neglected this place for a while, forgot just how much nicer it feels to the other one.

'If you're old enough to pay your taxes, then you're entitled to have a say on how your taxes are spent'

'We will definitely get it done', he told senior MPs

...1) we hear lots about toxic trios, but what of the trio of impulse control difficulties, demand avoidance and shame?

Completely misunderstood in most sectors of education and at the root of nearly every exclusion in the country in one form or another

Smashed my Apple Watch last week and turns out to be an absolute blessing - not missing the distracting notifications on my wrist and the feeling of being wired in to the grid.

After months of slowly weaning off anti-depressants & finally being off them (nobody talks about this bit & so much more), it feels like the right time to share that I’m now a proud
Lancashire Mind Ambassador. Hope to use my voice to make a difference & help others. #ItsGoodToTalk
