I want to get off Mr. Bones wild ride.

I've seen this before in tomb raider
"Who the fuck is that guy? Why is he shooting at me? Is he friends with the dinosaurs? Did these people worship the giant praying mantis? Am I taking ayahuasca?" is so much more fun than "Defeat the evil army of lizard people for the alien princess."
Absolutely nothing makes sense to me in Turok and the game has no interest in explaining itself, and I fucking love it.
Turok 2 is full of exposition and plot and characters, and the vibes are way worse.

I can hear this picture
@lowpolyhighres.bsky.social has to be one of my favorite accounts, because they showcase the insanity people used to get away with in games.
I have one game in post-production and one game in pre-production. So, of course, I want to make a micro, side project to justify buying PicoCAD 2.
I am currently reading a book set in 2026, but written in 2015. It's ridiculous how much hope they had for us. That isn't even that long ago. They keep talking about new technology and totally reasonable cultural shifts, but we haven't even had a new GTA in that time.
What the hell is that last picture? The whole set is whacky, but hangs together. Then the last one is just "space ship in a prehistoric village."
Where do you get these old racing games? I would love to play some of them.
It's a beautiful, sunny day. Why not take this time to retreat 1000 leagues under the sea and build a city?

Some of these scams are so niche that they're almost laughable. Who wants this?
This is where I get stupid Oblivion loading screens and video game beach pics. I am sold on staying.
I love that properly adapted video game TV shows are a thing now, but I still want a well done scene where a character just completely changes mood, forgets all their goals, and starts shuffling their pockets like someone who reloaded an old save.
There used to be so many unhinged racing games. I know culture is in flux, but I wish we could revive this genre.
Oceanopolis 2000 launches on Steam in 8 days, and will be 40% off for the first two weeks.
Wishlist it now!

Still have to busk for wishlists on Oceanopolis 2000.
It's a nifty, under-sea city-builder that launches April 8th. Check it out!

Damn, that's a pretty game for 2004. I always forget how much love IO puts into their environments.

The last new console I bought was an original series Xbox One.
For most of my life, I considered myself a console gamer, and it feels weird that I haven't even bothered to try keeping up with the newer generations. The console I have still runs and there are still loads of games I haven't played.
I am happy that Mike Meyers has Shrek, but I do think it directly cheated us out of the Austin Powers take on Daniel Craig's James Bond.
Don't let your dreams be dreams
Well, I'm done with the Kickstarter spam, but now I have to start building Steam wishlists.
Oceanopolis 2000 releases on Steam April 8th.

I probably shouldn't make dumb jokes in my promos. This is Oceanopolis 2000.

Anyway, here's Wonder Wall.

I also wouldn't mind if games only took ~6-20 hours to play.
I like Assassins Creed, but I still haven't finished Odyssey. I want smaller games with shorter experiences so I don't have to wait a decade for a sequel and I don't have to neglect my family to enjoy them.
