Also pay attention to accounts listed in their profiles as being followed by. These are the accounts you follow that are also following them. Again, leading to more accounts you might end up blocking in the future.

AI is a "tool", not a problem in and of itself.

The real problem is how people can (ab)use it.

Creative people, even those not using AI, can create great content. But the ease of AI can allow others to create an excessive amount of undesirable content (i.e.; "slop").

Letting those accounts pile up for days is part of the problem; they attract more junk by association. It’s much easier to keep the list clean if you block them as they come in.
