Thank you.
This COVID strain is rough. Please take care and stay well, everyone.
I had a couple of emails asking if BL and Otome are the only kinds of games I'm looking for, and short answer is those are the areas I mostly handle as far as third-party outreach. But Jast is open to all types of games, sfw and nsfw alike, including queer titles that don't easily fit a category.
If you own the Japanese version of Air for Switch, an update is now available that will add English and Simplified Chinese text options! I suspect an English version proper will pop up on the eShop within a couple months, as it happened with Kanon.
It's finally here! The official episode one! And it's time to talk Chrono Trigger!

The US gets Strange Houses a month before the UK, but don't let that deter you from buying tons of copies!

They create the spaces where new anime fans enter the hobby. Viewers of all ages find new series, new genres, new interests at these clubs - all while fostering community, knowledge, and interest. The loss of a program like this doesn't just hurt libraries; it hurts the industry too.
Libraries struggle for resources in the best of times, but with the IMLS being gutted, libraries are and will continue to be in need of any and all help that they can get. Programs like Crunchyroll's library outreach aren't just about the anime access they give to libraries. (1/2)
Many people are hearing about things like what’s happening with the IMLS or book bans/challenges, but this stuff starts at the local level. Your commitment doesn’t have to be that big - often it’s like an hour or two a month. But it’s vital to have your voice heard lest someone else speak for you.
If you are concerned about things like funding, collection content, programming, and the general wellbeing of your local library, PLEASE get involved.
Attend a board meeting (or better yet, JOIN the board!) Does your library have a “Friends” group? Join that!
Canada goose fighting with its reflection in a tall mirror next to some trash bins
Someone put a mirror out with the trash near Grange Park, and this one Canada goose is VERY MAD at this FUCKING GUY who will not STEP OFF
I have a serious question for an article I am writing.
It's about this particular issue of this particular book.
If you were around to buy this when it came out, or if it affected you in some way later, I would love to hear your SHORT thoughts on it.

Late night Budget Committee meeting regarding the "big, beautiful bill". It is worth seeing who votes how, who speaks up, and what they say.

This looks really interesting, especially hearing it’s from the author and artist of Library Wars.
This is awesome, but I still haven’t finished F/SN yet!

Librarians attending the @mdlibraryassoc.bsky.social / DLA Conference this week! I’ll be presenting my “Manga for Parents, Teachers, and Librarians” panel this Thursday afternoon! I hope to see you there!
I won’t have a chance to play Clair Obscur for awhile, but I already know it’s gonna be good because when I inquired about the story, my brother just sent this GIF back and I got a lot of those during Rebirth, so it’s a good sign. 😂
In the latest entry of my Suikoden series, we finally secure a castle and start recruiting people, cover Japanese words/phrases like アニキ, なきを見る, すめば都, and 一肌脱ぐ, speculate on why the devs were fixated on the color "orange", and talk about the myriad of first-person pronouns in Japanese.
I am a human being with over 200 videos on my channel teaching Japanese from beginner level to advanced.
Styles range from textbook-style grammar breakdowns to teaching Japanese through anime, songs, and guided manga and light novel translation.
Just sayin'.

@aidanis.fun Just finishing Fight, Magic, Items and I have to say, this is one of my favorite reads in awhile. What an absolute joy to read and a love letter to JRPGs! I picked up the audiobook version and have been lengthening my dog’s walks just to keep listening! Amazing work!
We usually do storytime once a month, but it’s been a bit crazy, so we have missed a few. At first, Sora was excited to be back at storytime with all the kids…only to fall asleep halfway through the first book! 😂
While IV is my personal favorite, I have to agree with you.
What a great time to be a visual novel fan.
Which means this is the perfect time to announce Harvestella 2.
Congratulations!
