Was yesterday - Monday 6th April - really National Tartan Day in Canada? I forgot to check...

... check... tartan... National Tar-- Oh, never mind. It's like casting pearls before swine.

My Internet's SO slow tonight that, rather than ask Google, I think it'd be quicker for me to fly to San José Mineta International Airport, drive to Google HQ in Silicon Valley, and put the question directly to them. And that's even factoring in time for me to learn to drive and get a licence.

Though that may have some traction, fictional bunnies having been shown eating carrots long before then. Think Peter Rabbit. What amuses me about all this, though, is – whatever Elmer Fudd may think – Bugs Bunny isn’t even a rabbit. He’s a jackrabbit, which isn’t a true rabbit but a hare! 2/2

Peter Rabbit and Bugs Bunny, both with carrots in hand, are looking at a framed picture painted by Beatrix Potter of another rabbit nibbling a carrot. It's carrots a-go-go!

There’s a story currently doing the rounds that the reason why so many people mistakenly believe that a rabbit’s favourite food is carrots is that the idea was popularised by Bugs Bunny from the 1930s onwards... 1/2

Hmmm. I wonder why? Is that because they're smart enough to recognise a senile narcissistic fucking moron when they see one?

Greg Perry's cartoon would be funny as well as poignant if we weren't actually hurtling towards this possible end game. #EpsteinWar

I can remember all 25 but, then again, I wrote this.

3. It could mean that I go into a room with 10 people already in there, shoot 3 and throw their bodies from the window, in which case, 1+10- 3 = 8 people.
4. It might mean that I go into the room taking the number of people up to 10...

THIS IS SO BADLY WORDED *Sob!* Clear writing matters! *Wail!*

1. This could imply that 10 people are accompanying me into the room and we have no idea how many people are already in there. In that case, unanswerable.
2. It could mean I go in alone and, with 10 people already there - 3 of who are soon dead or injured - that makes 11 people. [1/2]

And the US Department of Defense - it can't officially be called the Department of War without the approval of Congress - is clearly actually the Department of Distraction from the Repeated Referencing of Trump in the Epstein Files. Death by Distraction. Contemptible.

Blame it on the shifting of the New Year, which used to be in March, making March the first month and everything make sense. Scotland shifted from March in 1600. England did it in 1752, and most continental Europe was already doing the new-fangled 'January' thing by then anyway. I blame the parents.

Men, International Women’s Day is a great opportunity to show your appreciation for the women in your life, just as soon as they’ve cooked the Sunday roast, done the washing-up… and maybe a quick bit of Hoovering.

One of Ginger Biscuit's final acts was to make his way upstairs - which would have been painfully difficult for him - and to sneak into our bedroom where he curled up on my side of the bed. For me, who couldn't be there at the end, that speaks a thousand words.
