My Mom hadn’t had anything to eat or drink for days before she died. Apparently at like 3am on the day she passed, she randomly woke up and asked a nurse for a piece of cake.

And that’s the most ‘my Mom’ thing she could have possibly done. She was barely alive, but still asked for cake. 😅🥲

We are on forest fire watch here in Pa., due to lack of rain.

Atlanta usually gets 3.81 inches of rainfall in April.

According to Chris Holcomb, the Chief Meteorologist for 11Alive, Atlanta's NBC affiliate, the city has received only 0.13 inches of rainfall (all on Easter Sunday) so far.

Sunday morning my mother was in great health.

Sunday afternoon she had a violent aneurysm.

Today, after tests, I refused further work and ordered palliative care. She is in hospice.

Her wishes were not to suffer with mental impairment or in a hospital bed.

I am awaiting the call.

I’ve got COPD, and just went for annual blood test. The nurse who carried out the procedure was coughing his lungs up; I’d guess RSV or Covid. Not a responsible decision to place someone with COPD and someone with a lung infection so close. Not a happy old geezer at all.
