Avowed is such a fantastic game but this aspect sort of made me cherish it a bit more.
Seeing the names and specific words is such a delight, but as someone who’s also an expat, chasing my own dreams and having to leave so much behind - the struggles at Solace Keep of staying rooted to keep and preserve tradition vs. exploring the world just… hit a certain spot.
Would love to know more about the process the writing team at @obsidianent.bsky.social went through for the Pargrunen language and culture in Avowed. Not going to lie, seeing Romanian being used as source of inspiration in a video game (or any fantasy setting) is such a beautiful experience. (1/2)

Oh I genuinely loved the premise of Andromeda. I feel like it set us up for such a good and layered story. But a lot of people unfortunately compared Andromeda (first in a series) to the entire ME trilogy, which was not fair at all.

Nope. Just absolute hate and toxicity in fandom and then depressing news about the world. That’s all there is to it. Sometimes I wonder how do these people thrive on just negativity.
That! Is one of my frustrations with recent xmen comics as well. It feels like they weren’t even allowed to share the same panels anymore. As for Rogue I had some hopes for the new UXM but it’s been a complete letdown. I even miss Avengers Rogue at this point.But we endure until the next good thing!
