I dunno if the first officer missed an overnight from MSP or if the flight was late, but his being an hour late made us (at least) an hour late.

While we have an aircraft and at least two flight attendants, we're delayed 50 minutes so far. My 8:25am departure is now 9:15.

Woke up around 3am and gave up trying to sleep more. Got to the airport, bag drop, and security by 4:30. Hiked to the gate at the end of the terminal (literally: A4). Caught up of my magazine backlog. But….

The use here of "... rum and turkey" implies either a mixture of rum and turkey (which seems odd at best) or one of rum and Wild Turkey bourbon (which also seems odd at best). Since a Deep Six doesn't (IMO) have bourbon, I am... confused here.
