Grown up, still seeking employment, looks up requirements to be a trainee garbage truck driver. Quickly learns from previous job assessments that I will not qualify for the position.

This was something that I wrote in a cover letter this morning and might be an underlying desire for my life.
What am I doing? Using math to figure out the right dimensions before building a cross to crucify a puppet.
Let this be a reminder kids; you do use math in your every day adult life.
It's been a day.
Sometimes, I never get a rejection letter.
Sometimes, I get rejected 45 minutes after submitting.
Today was unnecessarily stressful. I am rewarding myself for surviving with a second viewing of The Life of Chuck.
This is seriously a really great movie.

Accidentally, spelled cremation as "creamation" in the title of a document today. I hope the employers don't think that I want to turn pets into frozen dairy products.
Two hours of work and it all just kind of ends up a single line item on an excel sheet. I miss going outside.
Some jobs (very few actually) just want a cover letter and resume. Others, such as the one I just finished, take almost two hours and tell you specifically in the application that it doesn't matter if you attach your required resume. If you don't re-enter your employment history; it doesn't count!
There's a lot going on. So to break the flow of bad news, I just want to say that The Life of Chuck is an amazing movie. Probably the best movie I've seen this year. I really want to see it again. If you like really great storytelling, I think that you'll enjoy it. An all around excellent movie!

Woof. Getting a large number of rejection letters today. It's not that I am not used to the rejection. They just normally don't send out rejections on Fridays.
"We regret to inform you that...will not be pursuing your candidacy for the position. Your application was received after a hiring decision was made."
So, why did it take you weeks to send me notification AND the job is still posted on your website.

Once again, it's Monday. Rejection Day. When all the jobs I applied to from Thursday through Sunday can finally tell me that I am not worthy.
When the part time retail associate job requires you to submit a cover letter before moving forward in the application process. Good grief.
As I am now beginning to be rejected for basic part time jobs, I really can't do anything but laugh. It's just absurd. So fucking absurd. Always look on the bright side of life, folks. Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true. Just remember that the last laugh is on you.
Welp. After a fairly disastrous week last week, where I watched everything that I had worked on for months blow up in my face over the course of four days; the only thing that I can do is start all over again. At the beginning. Or to summarize it as a Whovian:
