The rumors that Dick Wolf is spinning off a new CSI about the Copper Age have been greatly exaggerated (by me).

A goof on the CSI thumbnail, this has the Ted Danson character’s head replaced (poorly) with the face of Ötzi, a man who died around 5,000 years ago.

TONIGHT! 8pm eastern, join me (virtually! and for free!) as I explore the science behind the reconstruction of Ötzi, a man whose 5,000-years-old remains were frozen in ice until 1991.

You know that moment near the beginning of Home Alone where the mom is trying to get Kevin to go upstairs and he says he hopes he never sees her again for the rest of his life? And Catherine O’Hara’s face hardly changes but somehow communicates just how heartbroken she is? Anyway, she was a genius.

A close view from ground level of a tan German shepherd’s face with black and pink nose and a person with short dark hair and glasses leaning on the dog’s head and taking the selfie.

I too am often changed by the gas I encounter. I’m not in space, I just have a flatulent dog.

Milo, standing under rays of bright light, shielding his face

Milo, standing under rays of bright light, shielding his face

The cellos made the hills glow red, and the leaves and grass were tipped with a soft pale green as the violins began their song. Only the bass fiddles rested as the entire orchestra washed the forest in color.

Milo was overjoyed because they were all playing for him, and just the way they should.

A large symphony

A large symphony

"What are they playing?" asked Tock

"The sunset, of course. They play it every evening, about this time. And they also play morning, noon, and night, when, of course, it's morning, noon, or night. Why, there wouldn't be any color in the world unless they played it.”

If there’s not a vegan sub/grinder/hoagie/hero shop out there called Never Meat Your Heroes, there should be. Y’all can have that one for free.

How a St. Louis cartoonist replaced 'Dilbert' in the Washington Post "Heart of the City" replaced "Dilbert" in the Washington Post.

A reminder that my strip took over Dilberts vacant spot in the Washington Post after they dropped his ass. 😎

What publications out there are still letting writers profile fascinating-but-not-famous people and underground scenes and unique communities? Lemme get weird

A photo of a person with glasses and a blue plaid flannel mostly off the left side of the picture, while trying to take a snuggly selfie (unsuccessfully) with a fluffy German shepherd. Both the person and dog are lying on a wood floor.

Fiddle and I had different opinions about taking a cute snuggle selfie.
