The way profit maxxing corpo culture has invaded every form of art through algorithms pushing people into daily posting is really weighing on me lately. Efficiency and regularity of making "content" being prized above all else feels so grim, man.
I have so many things I want to draw right now and am feeling so frustrated by my body being in so much pain that it just isn't possible to do what I want.
That and I'm actually lining my current piece for once. I rarely do that anymore.

I may not be the best artist in the world, but I've reached a level that I honestly thought I might never get to. It's been a struggle, and I know I have limited spoons to practice and create, but I still try. And I'll keep improving, but I'm also damn proud of the level I've reached.
I have an OC who is very badly scarred across most of his body and I eventually had to make a map for myself and others.

Fair. I do art trades sometimes with friends, and that helps, and I've even gotten some fanart for my Bright Fall story, but I know I'm the one who can draw them the most accurately. Especially the first time around.

I have freckles in the shape of the constellation Triangulum on my arm, including the brighter triangle and a fainter hooked tail.
I love cats, my fave animal is the lynx, I have a fondness for nudibranchs, and I have favorite color combinations, not favorite colors.
I've camped out in a giant geode next to a lake. Honestly, the rest of my life was awful then, and that night ended up not he best, but sleeping in a geode was freaking cool.
I love storms. Unfortunately, they were also very fond of me and I've had more close and too close calls with lightning than anyone else I know.
So yeah. The ocean is scary.
It and I are long distance buddies.
To explain a bit more, I was swept out with the current as a small child. Then, as an adult, I was peer pressured into swimming in a place without a lifeguard and found a Portuguese man o' war. Which, thankfully, I'm not allergic to, but it hurt so badly I wouldn't have gotten to shore without help.
Random facts about me:
My first ever vacation to where the ocean is, I found a rather large fish vertebra. I really sort of wish I kept it, but it felt like a really really bad idea.
Speaking of the ocean, I've nearly died in it twice. So. That was fun.
This himbo royal occupies far too much of my brain space lately.
