Some Shots From a (Not So Recent) Trip to Woodbine Food Hall In my ever-neglectful way, and true to form, it's been a minute since I visited Woodbine Food Hall with some friends. I wanted to call out a few delicious items we encountered there. The stromboli from Marcato Kitchen was a knockout. Beautiful bread with the perfect amount of crisp, and I'm a sucker for any and all baked goods topped with toasted sesame seeds.

Nutritious Bowls Just to get this out of the way from the get-go: I have no idea what their name is about. But that is just the start of the frenetic, scattered fever dream that is Nutritious Bowls, located in the Rio Grande area of SLC. The location itself adds to the question marks that prevailed in my feeble brain throughout my visit.

Delicious Donuts That Make a Difference in SLC Some topics make me really excited to talk about. This is one of those topics. Donuts? Yup. Supporting a great cause? Double Yup. The Other Side Donuts is a social enterprise benefitting The Other Side Village, a "master-planned community of healing and purposeful living for people coming out of chronic homelessness." The donut shop, which recently celebrated its one-year anniversary, is staffed by residents of the village, and all proceeds are passed back to the village for its continued operations.

From Selma, owner of Granary Bakehouse, in a post on Instagram: After ten wonderful years in business and five unforgettable years in our 9th & 9th location, we officially closed our doors. Opinion | Time for a GOP Senate Revolt on Sanctions Against Putin John Thune can move Lindsey Graham’s secondary sanctions bill and send a message to the White House and the Kremlin.

"Mr. Trump and his advisers fancy themselves steely-eyed realists on foreign policy. No “neocon” idealism for them. But on Mr. Putin they are starry-eyed idealists, mouthing “peace” as if they can make it happen by wishing it were so."

two bottles of coffee mate “dirty soda” mix-in, a lime and coconut one for dr. pepper, and a cream for orange crush.

two bottles of coffee mate “dirty soda” mix-in, a lime and coconut one for dr. pepper, and a cream for orange crush.

explaining this #new product involves mormons, caffeine, "swig", and a mcdonald's spinoff called cosmc's.

just know that someone at coffee mate said "this is our time to shine!!"

it's not for coffee. it's not a drink. it's cream… for your sugar soda. we tried it in our dr pepper and it was… good?!

ChatGPT spends 'tens of millions of dollars' on people saying 'please' and 'thank you', but Sam Altman says it's worth it You never know...

Guilty as charged. People saying "please" and "thank you" to ChatGPT costs OpenAI millions in electricity costs. www.techradar.com/computing/ar...

Asher Adams Hotel, Salt Lake City. This building had languished for far too long until they came along and turned it into a hotel. I respect that they kept the original building original (the actual hotel portion is built behind this. You can see it at the left and right of the old building).
