Brock Riker has made a favorable impression this spring. We'll see where the center competition lands in August, but got into the Texas State transfer in the lengthy practice notes.

Taylor Mouser assumed Matt Campbell had other head coaching responsibilities during practice so he didn't slot him in as a defender.
"As soon as he got wind of it he was like no! I want to be out there!" Mouser recalled

They casually mentioned they’re using it and I said, wow, excuse me: I have some questions. And you know what? everybody ended up ok and we learned stuff!
Penn State's QBs are using virtual reality this spring & they say it's "invaluable."
"You’re really going faster looking at the defense, processing things faster on the VR than you would on the field," Rocco Becht said.
The only drawback? QB coach Jake Waters nearly threw up when he first tried it
Penn State announced it will hold the 15th and final spring practice in Beaver Stadium on Saturday, April 25 at 1 p.m. Parking lots open at 8 a.m., gates at 11 a.m. Admission remains free.
Penn State says it will be an open practice, so not necessarily a scrimmage.
"We all want to be great coaches and we all want it to look perfect, but that’s not the world we live in. Tough times are gonna happen."
