Finally have an update on our IVF journey. Insurance has finally approved a full cycle. Unfortunately the clinic doesn’t have any egg retrieval openings until mid July so we still have some waiting to do

Hosting 16 people at my house this weekend for an early Easter and I truly just don’t have the energy

I actually love my current job so it would be very hard to leave but I’m tired of additional work being added with no compensation

My employer is about it be in the “find out” stage of “fuck around and find out”. I was promised a certain % increase in my salary for next fiscal year and it was not reflected in my new contract. I now have 3 interviews scheduled for next week 🤷🏻‍♀️

Update: another bridesmaid was as confused as me so the MOH sent this 😂

Also….i now have eat 3 meals a day and not ransack my kitchen like a rabid raccoon at 10pm when I realize I haven’t eaten all day?

This is the first full week my husband is home in almost 3 months and it’s so nice but also weird?? Like what do you mean I need to share the house with another person while I WFH

So far I only have two complaints about the process:
1. The fact that it can take up to a month for insurance to approve a full cycle
2. Because of said insurance I have to drive 3 hours round trip to this clinic for every appointment

Finished our initial testing for the IVF clinic today. Now just waiting for all the pre auths to go through insurance before we can start!!

He also rarely leaves this spot on the couch and definitely can’t get upstairs anymore so I’ve been sleeping here every night for almost a week. My back is killing me but he climbed the stairs for years to sleep with me so it’s the least I can do ❤️

Update on my cranky floof: he finally started eating again over the weekend and seems to be doing a bit better. We still don’t have a lot of time left together but I’m hoping it’s months not weeks

I just want to make him as comfortable as possible for as long as I can but the second he shows he’s in pain I know I have to let him go. He’s been my best friend for 14 years and I don’t know what I’m going to do without him

Had to take my sweet boy to the vet today. His heath has been deteriorating quickly and they said best case we have him for another week 💔
