Congrats on finishing two novels! That is a feat in itself. The revising is always the hardest part. An author once told me roll a d100 & polish just that page, or same for chapters. Sometimes doing things out of order shakes up my brain in a way to get motivated. (If that works for your edits.) ☘️

I ususally end up w/ the opposite with caterers who are not vegan themselves-some plain roasted vegetables with nothing on them(if you're lucky and they don't say they are vegan but are actually not cause they used butter) & a salad. If you can travel, I can give Chi vegan recs. :)

Indeed! Already loved Phantom & Rook and A Strange and Stubborn Endurance (currently reading book 2); just ordered A Queer and Cozy Winter, have The Rebel Foxes and The Forgotten Lyric on my ereader tbr; and four others on the list I plan to buy (finally). I'm set for happy reading! 😊

Quite a few of these are currently in my TBR or my "to buy" list so looks like I am set! Thanks for the reminder of which books to read. :)
