Another time, while working as a witch trial reenactor in Salem MA, I had my name posted on the marquee as “Ulysses Thornblade” just because I could, and that name was the most badass name I could think of.
So yeah, be it temporary or permanent, name yourself today.
All the staff knew my name was Eric, but I assured them everyone called me “Cream” in my life. It was incredibly fun and amusing for me.
Happy Name Yourself Day! And shout out to all our friends who chose their names.
Once working at a summer camp, I (Eric) introduced myself as “Cream” to everyone. I was a counselor, and all my campers called me Counselor Cream.

Absolutely excellent fan video from @nyskald.bsky.social. Merging a deep cut of ours with an old Sherlock Holmes tv movie. Really great attention to detail, storytelling, and pacing to the music.
Oh and one more thing: so glad you love Welcome Fear. I think it’s kind of a deep cut for many PV fans but it’s one of my favs on Winter Person and I really love playing it live still. Means a lot knowing that song connected with you in such a strong way
