From a lower angle, I can see it little better, but still hard to read. The polarizer looks okay, so something to do with the LCD circuitry?

EPSON PX-4 still works! Make sure the AC adaptor's polarity. It's center-negative.

It's always very difficult to identify which connector is used in an old board. I was closely looking at it, and realized that there was something. It turned out that it says "HRS". I believe this was Hirose's DF13A-15P-1.25H.
