I thought ALP were taking from disabled people so they can send Billions to Trump for nuclear subs we will never receive?
Scrap #JSPs
Pay ndis clients directly
Raise carer pensions
Our system of care is being diminished, while Labor wastes billions on AUKUS and let the 1% opt out of paying their fair share.
The Greens will not support Labor trying to balance the budget off the back of disabled people.

Taking from disabled people to give to people in aged care is a cynical political exercise from Labor.
Pitting people who genuinely need care against each other while leaving $17 billion in the pockets of gas corporations they’re too cowardly to tax is shameful.
Hi everyone -
Do you have to use your car because there is no public transport in your area? Do you have to do mutual obligations right now? Would you feel comfortable chatting for a story? Please message me here or email: cait.kelly@theguardian.com

A leading scientist has criticised an “appalling” New South Wales government agency decision to stop water flowing to wetlands in the state’s north-west, saying it was “absolutely crazy” that researchers had to scramble to save animals buried in drying mud.
These are the weasel words the government used today to justify slashing supports to disabled people, just days after they promised another gagillion dollars to fatten the bottom lines of weapons manufacturers.
Labor always has money for war.
No, it is to show the progress that the Chinese have made in robotics. It is very difficult to get robots to move like humans, and the Chinese have done it successfully. It really isn't about being better than humans, that is just shitty seppo media reporting.
Funny how the law and order guys never think it applies to them 🙄
He’s again blaming the courts, the protesters and those attacked by police all for his appalling and illegal attempts to ban dissent
That's a great reason to invite him
Ahh the common touch.
Mary Trump, was very interesting, in her interview on the ABCs "Planet America" , last night.
Is trump insane, or suffering aged related dementia, Mary says, "why not both" .
Whatever is wrong with trump, I hope it's nothing trivial.
"The only reform equal to the scale of the crisis is to urgently end handouts for property investors [and] provide high quality, beautiful public homes."

And why would we listen to big business when it comes to social services/the welfare state???
My next car will be an EV. I have a hybrid now, and fill the petrol tank about once every 6 months. I live in woop woop, so do actually need a car, but for around town, I mostly cycle, good for my health as well. I never had an affinity with cars, they are just transport, but I'm not male.
"People regularly die for the fantasy that, whenever we want, we might burn along the highway of life, at speed, with the sunglasses on, windows down and our elbow up, while we chain-smoke cigarettes and play Free Bird at volume over the stereo."
I wrote about EVs and why bad reporting is an issue.
Submarine agency external spending hit record high amid 'secretive' culture review Ray Athwal Ray Athwal Data Journalist. Published 08 April 2026 Australia’s submarine agency is committing record funding to external firms for management and support services while maintaining a “secretive” stance on internal assessments of its own workplace culture. While AUKUS was framed as a means to establish sovereign industrial capability, an analysis of procurement contracts showed the agency has relied on a small group of private providers.
Wtf???
So, no money for NDIS but all the money for AUKUS - and they're outsourcing $$$ to external private firms?!

They can always move to seppoland, I wish they would, they'd fit right in, and can be in the box seat when trump bankrupts the country, while all the idiots cheer him on.
Here's their target: "Meanwhile, in-kind transfers like government-subsidised education, disability and healthcare are increasing."
Public Education
Public Disability Care
Public Health care
They want to be America.
Our car-centric societies anger the absolute hell out of me.
Yes, I drive, because I have to for some things. I try to cycle for everything I can, but we should design better cities that actually enable a completely car-free lifestyle!
I also bloody love Not Just Bikes' videos on the topic:
My favourite line so far from the Gas Tax committee is Susan McDonald "I probably know more than 20,000 people who work directly and fairly closely directly with the gas industry."
C'mon Susan, the Santos corporate box for the Wallabies vs Argentina Rugby Test Match wasn't that big
Palantir's CEO published a manifesto arguing Western tech firms have a "moral debt" to US military dominance, that AI weapons are inevitable, and that "some cultures are dysfunctional." This isn't just a regularly evil tech or defence contractor, it’s a fascist political project.
Because people with disabilities should be forced to live with/depend on their abusive families or partners and have no control over their own lives…they’re the ones that need to be targeted!
Who would be means tested? The disabled person or their family? Does the disabled person have control over whether their family uses their wealth to help them?
Seems like savings would be fuck all and complexity would be huge.
Yes, billionaires and their lackeys, the bought and paid for political swill, will always attack the vulnerable.
The wealthy have finally found a group more vulnerable than Indigenous Australians, Immigrants or the aged to bludgeon.
