Please come risk your health; donating blood in an airtight building where it is preached & taught that one can miraculously prevent the spread of an aerosol infection by simply washing hands.

Stern argument with the respiratory technician. She was only donning a ASTM III (yellow surgical), She started giving me the droplet dogma & I just flat out, knee jerk reaction, said "Bull shi*!" She then donned a 3M Aura.
@ihrice.bsky.social why doesn't Intermountain educate staff?
Bar chart showing >15% positive detection of COVID in air of hospitals and elderly care homes, around 5% for schools, and still less for Universities.
Air in healthcare settings (and care homes) have much more COVID than other public spaces. www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti... . These are places more likely to have both people with COVID, and vulnerable people for whom it's really bad to catch COVID, so should be targeted. My thoughts: 1/
Just posted this paper in a thread on LinkedIn. Nice work Marina👍

I am looking to recruit 1-2 new PhD students to start in Fall 2025 at CU Boulder in either Mechanical Engineering or Environmental Engineering. Our group works on aerosols (particulate matter): physical properties, indoor/outdoor transport, human exposure, etc.

Maryland folks, I need another favor.
There is a person from Anne Arundel county that has been infected with SARS-CoV-2 for about 3 years (Delta infection).
They probably don’t even know they are infected, but they are shedding a ton of viral material in wastewater

Do you think you've had long-term GI problems since having Covid?
We are performing a study examining the characteristics of viruses, specifically persistent SARS-CoV-2 infections, in stool samples.

CO₂ graph shows a gradual climb to 1029 ppm. Peaked at 9:08 AM
Spike of 7.76 µSv/h while getting my teeth x-rayed. Base line shows 0.12 7.76 µSv/h
Just got my teeth cleaned at Prince Dental Group in Midway Utah. I saw was my hygienist without a mask & I asked if she would please put on an N95. She came back with a KN95. She also turned on an air cleaner. I had my #Aranet4 & #Aranet-R with me. X-ray spiked to 7.76 µSv/h @aranethome.bsky.social
Catch Katherine H. Walsh's insightful 10-min presentation at the 6:00 h mark in yesterday's #IAQ meeting.

Fun things you find when cleaning your office. Thanks Shelly Miller for a fine conference.
Plot of CO2 from 9PM to 9AM shows regular spikes up to 750ppm from a baseline of 500 ppm
Outside of house, left to right: furnace combustion inlet and outlet, hot water heater outlet, ventilation outlet, bathroom exhaust outlet, air conditioner, ventilation inlet. A tape measure on the ground is indicating 10.5 feet from the furnace outlet to the ventilation air inlet.
10.5 feet isn't enough separation from furnace exhaust outlet to ventilation air inlet. The cycling of the furnace overnight is evident on the HRV inlet CO2 levels spiking up to 750 ppm.
