Fortunately @whatisnuclear.com has a solution for this problem with his random reactor generator. I’m sure these reactors will be critical by July 4, 2112.

Dresden liked to use the phrase “World’s First Commercial Nuclear Station.”
Unreal
Watts Bar Nuclear Plant produces tritium for weapons.
I hope the actual building looks better in real life than what is depicted in the photo.
It would be ironic if Transportation Secretary had an operable nuclear plant before the Energy Secretary.
Just think how exciting it is to circulate the periodic table through the reactor system and marvel as the isotopic changes during decay. Wouldn’t metallurgists jump at the chance to be involved with this?
After the Elgin Ohare Expressway was converted to a toll road traffic decreased significantly.
The show also had a sense of humor. One episode he was working on a movie set and he was throwing a snow looking substance from a box while standing on a ladder. Box said asbestos.
Someone would use it on their french fries and then ruin it for everyone.
Saw an interview with one of the sailors on the Indianapolis and the rumor was the special cargo was scented toilet paper for McArthur.
Generally speaking does it matter? I’m guessing it will use the latest in vibe coding to create an AI powered synergistic crossover system that combines Tesla, SpaceX and NVIDEA methodologies to harmonize extraction of U235 and subsidies.
He has been trying to make the point the NRC rules and regulations are harsh and unnecessary. His reactor is so safe you can hold the spent fuel in your hands so therefore NRC oversight is punitive and hindering innovation.
I like my reactors safe and regulated.
One bad company could ruin a lot of the good work being done by other companies.
Would a six story building also have an elevator or just a stair?
A good video about the SRE event.

Say yes to Cherenkov radiation.
This event sparked the creation of Appendix R.
Sounds interesting thanks for sharing the info.
SHINE Technology is building a fusion reactor to produce neutrons to produce medical radioisotopes in Janesville, WI. Lot of cool nuclear technology different than power plants. Their U238 fission products are considered low level waste.
Thanks. Somehow I was skeptical that the professional pickleball association (PPA) started using beryllium triflutes in their rackets.
What is PPA in this context?
What do you think are the #1 and #2 most important safety tips?
Until I see actual results I will remain skeptical. I’m tired hearing about a company coming out and saying our product will solve that problem.
Wish them well on this journey.
LWRs had a large learning curve in the beginning. They had mediocre operating performance. Over time they improved operations or were shutdown. Now most have impressive performance.
They commissioned a test loop back in 2010 and by 2013 it appeared to be working. Hopefully it works out well. A lot changes in names since this process started in 2000.
Glad to see this project moving forward. Originally it was going to be built in Wilmington NC but was shelved when demand for enriched uranium declined in 2012.
A close runner up would be Yankee Rowe in the fall when the leafs were in full color.
The Zimmer Nuclear Plant was 97% complete but was not constructed properly. Cost of fixing was too high so they built a coal plant right next to it. It still has the BWR containment building. So with Zimmer you get it all: cooling tower, containment building, boiler building, coal stock pile.
I’ve never seen a METRA train car like that. Hopefully it wasn’t the quiet car.
