Australia is a dangerous place for bushfires. Brave volunteers put their lives on the line to keep everyone safe. And most of the time they are successful. But I'm also reminded of the higher lung disease and cancer rates in them. We should be grateful for their sacrifices. I know I am.

Today is a catastrophic fire danger day. I got an alert that I was in a watch zone for a bushfire. I am so grateful that unlike other times the local volunteers were funded with equipment including multiple water bombers and were able to get the bushfire under control. Vote to fund CFS/CFA.
