My book is out! I am so thrilled that I'll be giving my first talk at the Handwerker Gallery at Ithaca College where the work of Mara Baldwin is being exhibited. Her exhibit, "Trust Fall," is exquisite. If you're in the Ithaca area, please join us! Tuesday, October 21 at 5:30pm

So...I'm on Reddit today, r/AskHistorians, to answer questions related to Intrepid Girls and my research on Girl Scouts....or I presume anything related to my work. Very thoughtful questions so far! Never thought I'd be on Reddit except for landing there with some odd search....

I am so very pleased to share the cover of my forthcoming book on the history of the Girl Scouts, forthcoming in October.

I think UNC Press did such a beautiful job with the cover. Those are actually my badges from when I was a girl. Even the stitching is my own.
