Went to see Project Hail Mary tonight and absolutely adored that film. So funny, so heartfelt, so damn good. A joy.

Our defence as a team has become 2nd rate & is largest cause of struggles. After losing to Liverpool in August, we only failed to score in 3 games in all competitions up to now. The difference first half of season was elite defence. Now we are porous. How do we rediscover our defensive solidity?
@philcosta.bsky.social so sorry to hear about your health issues. Pods w/ @arseblog.com have long been a high point of my week. Been listening more recently with my son (he's 10). Both sending best wishes & will switch to reading your output! Look forward to pods again soon, keep strong brother!
Extremely upsetting
Is This Thing On? was a film I absolutely loved and still thinking about today. It's beautiful. And funny. So funny! I'll be watching this again many times in my life.
Have had a really good run on movies this week. Heat rewatch, Adjustment Bureau, Send Help, The Insider, Thief, Crime 101, Eddington, and then topped it off with Is This Thing On? last night
Thank you Aaron. I was brought to tears at ending the drought in 2014 and in true Arsenal style. He was at his peak comfortably the best midfielder in the PL. A brilliant servant for the Arsenal and will always hold a special place in my heart. Enjoy your retirement, king.
Mavropanos you are welcome back any time my friend
This day gets even better
Well done Hammers ⚒️
When all is said and done, David Raya has been absolutely essential to anything we achieve this season. At it again today. A freak, in the best possible way.
Agree hard with this
A mega result after a good performance
Just so outrageously happy right now
I'm sorry, but there is not one single fucking player I'd take from that Spurs squad. We are good, thanks.
Don't want to pick on particular players, but honestly that Gyökeres performance was horrible to watch. Half-fit Kai was light-years clear when he came on.
Oh and those away fans tonight... Absolutely superb 🙌
Man of the match was Hincapie for me. Absolutely brilliant, including a shift at RCB. That was fucking horrendous to watch. 8 more just like it please 🤣
Right. It's time. Phones are way too big. Make phones small again!
Beautiful weekend. My lad scored in wins for both his school and club team. Arsenal win. And I finished my rewatch of Andor. Simple things. Life is great!
We really needed that
If that Martinelli chance falls to Trossard...
We all know what happens
Wow! Really? Not for me. I thought he was strong, looked pretty confident on the ball, and covered really well for Big Gabi after the yellow card.
Given the knock on Odegaard and potentially him needing some time to recover, we may be seeing more Eze starts soon.
I agree, I think Odegaard would always start when fit + available. I thought Gyök was good, Trossard was excellent and has been a standard bearer. For me outstanding players tonight were Raya, Rice, Leo and Mosquera. But they all could do better!
Oh yeah totally, player is not innocent. I do wonder what the conversation was between him and MA on signing. What was the 'plan'? Surely not 'play like Odegaard'!?
It's definitely on Mikel. He has to find a combination that works. Eze at his best brings more to the team but also those around him than we are currently getting. I'd like to see something like Leo back to false 9, Eze LW for example. At moment he just has to do a poor Odegaard impression.
Maybe, it's an interesting question in wider context of season though. Let's say we signed Semenyo in summer and played him as a 9 or winger depending on availability of other players. Might we be better off? Noni has barely impacted in league campaign.
I absolutely totally agree and was thinking this throughout the game. He's absolutely made for this kind of game.
Yes fair point.
In fairness to Miguel, I imagine he didn't write the headline but he is authoring his own post. So the post is probably more aligned to what he's written in the body of the article.
