I think rather than making sweeping unjustified statements like that you'd be better off actually playing more games and seeing what's out there.

I'm not going to deny that I've enjoyed it but it knows it's trash TV, unlike Hijack which took itself far too seriously.

Anyone who complains about the plots of games should watch Red Eye. Utterly ridiculous plot and unearned twists that even includes the main character stating a "fact" early in S2 that directly contradicts a major plot point they were involved in in S1.

Just got the notification that my copy is due to arrive tomorrow! Just a shame I'll be at work slowly losing it as I mark reports

One of the changes in the new edition is an expanded personal events table, expanding the original 13 prompts into a fuller 52 prompt set with additional descriptions. I've written 7 so far, it's a start but that leaves plenty more to add as I revise the game.

The boxes are packed and the delivery pickup booked which must mean its time to send new items to @ipr.bsky.social - if you're in the US then 'The Words We Leave Behind' and 'Hopes and Dreams of the Orbital Bound' will soon be available to purchase from them (or ask you're FLGS to order them!)

It's still early days but I am slowly outlining the revisions and updates for this new edition. My aim is to address the limitations of the game and expand on some areas without losing the heart of the experience.
