It features three cats with intricate, unique patterns on their bodies.
The artist notes that these are manually embroidered and sometimes sold with baby cats included.
The designs are often inspired by traditional art patterns like folk embroidery or floral themes.

Bilbo barely passed Old Took's record lifespan after having a supernaturally-life-extending ring for 60 years. which begs a question. what the hell did Old Took do

I have a theory that somewhere back up the line gandalf fucked a took. This sounds like complete crack but hear me out. The tooks are rumored to have "fairy blood" which in LOTR terms means either elves or maia. There is an ancestor who's unusually tall and many of them are noted to live unusually long lives unless they meet with illness or injury, same as the numenorians did. They don't hve extra pointy ears and elves don't have a special interest in the line. But who DOES have a special interest in looking after tooks (and bilbo who is a took on his mother's side/his adopted son frodo)? Gandalf. That dude is ALWAYS fussing over some silly little guy. He regularly brought the old took birthday presents.
Back in the day some bold hobbitess decided to climb that old man and ever since then gandalf has been looking after his line of tiny crazy bastards and no one will convince me otherwise.

So my more Tolkien-minded friends how do we feel about this theory? Because I mean it makes a lot of sense…

How does this not violate our hate speech laws? I thought inciting violence was illegal in this country.

I can’t exactly explain it but this is a whole genre of “big science or tech facility tries to appeal to kids and somehow is less appealing than you could possibly have imagined”

The Press Club cancelled Pulitzer winner Chris Hedges after he submitted a speech on the killing of Palestinian journalists, then booked Israel's ambassador instead.

If you wonder why media reporting on Gaza genocide has been so disappointing this is what they think is normal.

The If You're Listening team is striking today, calling for fair pay and conditions, particularly for casual and fixed term staff.
I'm lucky enough to have an ongoing role - many of my colleagues don't.
As a result, this week's Thursday episode will be released on Friday.

It's out 28 April!

Preorders are open - they help ensure ABC Books print more than the copies my mum will buy. www.harpercollins.com.au/978146071922...

Comic. [Person is sitting at a desk with a laptop, turned toward voice coming from off-panel.] VOICE FROM OFF-PANEL: I got you the ingredients for dinner tonight. Oh, and the plums in the fridge drawer are for my yogurt tomorrow; you should just leave them. Be back later! PERSON’S THOUGHT BUBBLE: Oh no. [caption] Help. It actually happened. I shouldn’t. But how can I not!?
