So now we've established that Mandelson is a corrupting force that sullies everything and everyone in his sphere of influence, what are we going to do about the fact he hand-picked the entirety of Labour's 2024 intake of new MPs?

The question now becomes: how close was Peter Mandelson to Les Wexner and Michael Jeffries, the CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch charged with sexually exploiting and trafficking young boys.

What happened with these boys during the time when Peter Mandelson was very close friends with Jeffrey Epstein?

The billionaire owner of the group that controlled Abercrombie & Fitch was very close friends with Jeffrey Epstein who had signature rights on all his assets while Peter Mandelson was his best pal

Telegraph newspaper editorial on Mandelson's appointment in December 2024 versus editorial today

we have a whole political and media class that has basically made policy making of any import impossible for nearly two decades by treating anything other than spending cuts and authoritarianism as "unserious" and/or "reckless"

the Mandelson scandal would not now be happening if the media had done their job and properly scrutinised him resuming involvement with top-level politics several years ago.

It wouldn't be happening if his influence didn't extend deep into the structurally dominant clique in 1 of 2 main parties

What if... what really makes Britain "ungovernable" is... the nature of its political media and of its political class?

What does it mean, if you can’t lift a stone anywhere near politics, media or the cops without something hideous and hairy scuttering out from underneath it

In two to three years time, when Starmer and his government are no doubt deeply unpopular, I hope we in the media will ask ourselves: "Why were we so supine during the long 2024 election; why didn't we hold Labour properly to account while we could, and ask more probing questions, and explore their records, rather than give them such an easy ride?"

I think we can see the reason for this is the same as any number of abysmal scandals at all kinds of major British institutions: Nobody wants to go lifting rocks because of the very high risk that moving one of them will send a geyser of scalding hot corruption leaping two hundred feet into the air.

Henry Hill: [Narrating] For us to live any other way was nuts. Uh, to us, those goody-good people who worked shitty jobs for bum paychecks and took the subway to work every day, and worried about their bills, were dead. I mean, they were suckers. They had no balls. If we wanted something, we just took it. If anyone complained twice they got hit so bad, believe me, they never complained again.

A member-led, left wing party could set its own policy, so it had no use for zillionaire bungs. A member-led party didn’t need post-politics gigs with Drax or PWC, it didn’t need contracts with Palantir. And Morgan was very, very clear with the journos that this was unacceptable to him.

Where else on Earth would a secret party-within-a-party collaborate with hostile media outlets on destroying its own electoral prospects; impose its leadership candidate via fraud; win national power, then explode in a welter of corruption allegations involving Russian oligarchs and sex traffickers

BBC Sport also employ Sharron Davies. I don't think they're too bothered by what their presenters say... unless it's Gary Lineker.

This tweet is highly defamatory and Martina Navratilova should be fired from BBC Sport for it.

It demonstrates an horrendous level of hatred for a trans woman (who was cleared of all wrongdoing in a recent tribunal) because she is a trans woman.

I appreciate that some lads would like us to focus on “did Sir Keir say yay or nay” but the implications of Peter shitehousing his own party, the press and then the public raise urgent questions about minor matters such as “is Britain a democratic country, in any meaningful sense of the phrase”.

If you ask two white guys when Elon made a turn to the hard right, they'll tell you "2020! Or maybe 2022!"🤡

Because that's easier than the self-reflection required to say, "Black people saw it way before that, but I only saw it in 2020 or 2022, and I can't accept that I missed something so big."
