Item Flow, Part 1: A new unified concept for layout CSS Grid and Flexbox brought incredible layout tools to the web, but they don’t yet do everything a designer might want.

Item flow sounds like a great solution. Looking forward to having native masonry in #css

Busy and offline are ignored anyways. But hostile or friendly might send the message they need.

@spiffingbrit.bsky.social , are you ok? You barely touched your Great Britain civ.

Can’t #Apple (they’re not on here?) not just simply move it’s operations to the #EU?
I really want to support the #BuyFromEurope movement, but love my iPhone and Macbook a little too much.

If you’re a #eu based company, it’s okay to use the Union Jack 🇬🇧 for the English language on your website. We’ll understand.

The task dependencies seem like such a trivial feature, and then again extremely powerful. The workarounds I’ve seen on other platforms now seem silly.

Where am I supposed to place the brickyard, if it’s not possible to place on the gold mine?

Getting the client from context seems to fail, guessing it’s a SSR thing.
Using ES modules to load the client directly into the island does work. I now have data in the front-end!

Do people use alternatives to @github.com Wiki, or are there tricks to create more hierarchy?

A reminder as Musk-bots, Trump-bots, and other bots start hitting Bluesky: blocking users removes their replies from your posts entirely.

The correct way of handlin antagonizing parties is to block. Not reply. Not dunk. Not mute. Block. It stops their reach and effectiveness right there.

Getting “verified” on @bsky.app is such a simple but effective flow. Well done team!

When I need options or in depth info, nowadays I search straight on Reddit. It typically gives better results

Google search is getting worse and worse. It’s all about sales, and not even from the store I literally searched for.

Don’t even bother to find information on the product.
