I think the most impressive thing about Tokaido Shinkansen for me now is how effortless it is to get a seat (granted not peak travel season) when you get to the station, rather than stressing about making it to the station on time. Using the app instead of the machine for booking helps too.

OSFE - great online community, great developer, tons of fun (and hard if you can't keep pace)

RCT2 - THE computer game of my life. Countless hours spent in it across my life.
Galaxy - the first Mario game I played to the end. Also the OST
Soulsilver - the best pokemon game ever IMO. Just perfect execution.
