Last run of 2024😁
In 2024 I became a runner. I never thought I’ll get there but no matter how hard it was I didn’t give up and today I’m proud of my progress. I got to 855,9km this year. Yes it’s a weird figure but it is what it is🤣

Freezing 🥶 cold out there this morning but I really enjoyed my run and to have some time for myself away from the still crowded house. Precious moments of solitude and silence.🥰

It improves my mental health. It makes me feel free. Running taught me I can overcome all obstacles. I just need to try hard enough and be consistent.
The health and weight aspects are very welcome side effects.
As Christmas 🎄is coming closer it’s important to slow down and take time for our self care. If we care for ourselves and recharge our batteries, we can care for others better. And remember to check on your friends, not everyone is in a festive mood🙏💜

I‘m having a classical desk job, 4 days home office. So the only walking is getting tea or water or using the bathroom 😂 Luckily flexible hours so I can squeeze in a run every now and then.

The wind chill factor is a major issue for me in winter. However I know how good I’m feeling after a run , so I keep doing it😂😂😂

I did that swimming in winter when I was young and grew up at the coast. 😂🫣 I really hate the cold stormy weather atm but a sunny cold winter day with snow is perfect for a run. And running always is a mood lift.
I can relate 😂 My family called me crazy more then once for running in the snow😁😂
Running taught me that I’m stronger than I thought. It taught me patience and consistency. It made me confident and believing in myself. Not always but I‘m making progress. 🏃🏻♀️ is my reminder I can reach my goals as long as I keep trying.
